Movement type to use

Hello Friends,

Please suggest which movement type to use for. We have a material at our Vendor location and this material has to be moved to another vendor location. How do we accomplish this???

hi Sanjay,

There is a reason behind this:

You can't do it directly...Because the goods is not in your premises and also doesn't belongs to you..so how can you transfer from vendor to vendor...

So, for this you have to make GR for the material first in the your industry...then you can transfer it to other places or to the other vendor....for this make vendor as a customer or a plant...and make stock transfer from plant to plant....

You Cannot Transfer the Stock Directly from One Vendor to another Since the Stock is not Lying with you.

Follow the Steps below :

Using MB1B / MIGO 542 Do Transfer Posting from Vendor Stock to your Own Unrestricted Stock.

Then Transfer the Stock to Another Vendor Location Using MB1B / MIGO 541 Movement type.

Hi Sanjay,

I'm not sure whether your material is a refurbishment process.

But you need to do 2 processes in order to accomplish your task. Firstly you have to receive the stock back into your system. Then, you can issue the stock to another vendor.

Not sure if this can help.

Charlie is right, there is no single movement type with which you can get this.

Receive back the material from the first vendor and den issue to the other vendor.
