Decimal Problem in Alternate and Base Unit Calculations

Hi Experts,

I have an issue with Unit of measurement.

This is an overview of my scenario:

The base unit is in Grams and the Alternative unit is in Drums.

1 DRM = 180,000 GRM.

But the fields cannot accept more than 5 digits (99,999) and cannot accept decimal.

I need to reduce the gram from 180,000 if any value must be entered.

This automatically means reduction in the Drum (which can only be done in decimal).

The gram field has to be less than 6 digits.

For this to happen, the DRM has to be < 1

So I can then easily say

0.5 DRM = 90000 GR

or 0.1 DRM = 18000 GR etc, etc.

I tried CUNI, setting the decimal places to 2 places for the DRUM. Yet I still cannot enter decimal in the material master.

Thank you in advance.
