Is there a way to disable the Duplicate function of Data Manager this is the 4th option when you right click in the record pane - Record Mode

Hi Vinay,

It has rightly mention by Nitin & Simona that there is no direct way to disable Duplicate option but you can restrict the users through roles.

In addition you can atleast track which record has been duplicated and the user responsible for the same by enabling Change Tracking.

Hi Vinay,

As an ADMIN user you have unrestricted access to the records in the MDM data manager.

There is no direct option to Disable the Duplicate function in DM.

However just try restricting the access of Modify Records and ADD records functions to the particular Role and the particular table.

This is just a workaround,this might also disable your other functionlaities

Hi Vinay,

I was not able to find any settings to disable that DUPLICATE function in Data Manager.

There is no such settings in Console->Role-> Functions also.
