anyone familiar w/ the coding of RFC's to extracts BW data into a non-BW system (microsoft database).

Hi,

You can create a web service based on your function module. Then your external application will connect to this web service in order to get the data.

You can create a function module with attribute set to Normal Fuunction module and Remote-enabled module.

Then, from transaction SE80, you right click on the function and you choose Create Web Service. There is a wizard to help you throught the steps.

One of the steps is about publishing the web service.
