Hello,

We are running the .NET 2.0 runtime on Enterprise Portal 6 SP15.

We are getting a error when attemping to view iViews that are delployed by Visual Studio 2003. This was working fine and then all of the sudden we started to get the below error. To reslove the error we just re-start the runtime, but eventuly is errors out again.

On Screen Error Message:

The request has timed out.

Contact your administrator if the problem persists.

Possible reasons:

1. The Portal Runtime for .NET service is not running or installed.

2. The .NET Runtime Servers Configuration property of 'iViewProcessorService' service is not pointing to the correct.NET runtime server.

3. The log-on account for the Portal Runtime for .NET service doesn't have the necessary permissions.

I have experienced this as well. Is there a place outside of this forum to report this as a bug?

Hi Bob (and all),

The PDK is a supported product, and therefore (if you have acquired a "NetWeaver developer" license) you can open an OSS message on it. The component is either EP-PIN-DNT or EP-PDK-.NET.
