Tax structure

Hello Gurus

Can anybody please help me with the tax structure followed in Kerala,India?

Which all cess are there and when are they applicablr?

HI,

Normally the Tax Structure followed in India for the current fiscal year (after 08 budget) is

Basic Education Duty (BED) - 14%

Education Cess (Ecess) - 2%

Secondary & Higher Education Cess (SHEcess) - 1%

+ Taxes (CST/VAT) which is calculated on top of Base Price + Excise.
