Copying an installed base

Hi Gurus,

I'm working on Web User Interface of SAP CRM 2007. I created an IC_AGENT business role and I added the "Installed Base" work centre. I can search or create IBs but I'm not able to copy Installed Bases.

I would like to copy an existing IB, exactly as it is possible in Gui (see transaction ib51).

What can I do?

Hi Bhanu,

always on the Web Ui. I mean: I would like to create a new IB on the Web Ui as a copy of an existing one in order re-use the same "structure" without starting from the beginning.

The new IB will be created on the SAP CRM system.

Please follow the below mentioned steps for copying the existing Ibase

1.In Accounts and Products select Installed base

2.Click on search button

3.Select any desired installed base

4.In the description area expand the installed base

5.Select the component

6.Click on edit button on the top menu

7.The tools (copy,paste and delete) will get enabled
