Namespace Creation

Hi,

We have an object SAP ABA 640 in Integration Builder (Design). I included a namespace http://xitestcase.com. When i try to activate that

from the change list for the Data types created automatically underneath i am getting the following error:

Namespace http://xitestcase.com is not defined in the software component version SAP ABA 640

Any idea on this ?

Hi Aravind,

1. try activating the software component only

2. then try activating data types

Thanks for the answer, but anyhow i also did the same thing which worked fine.

Hi Aravind,

I assume that it is a problem with some internal cache. Hence, refreshing that cache might help.

On the administration page you find a link to the cache overview. There you could try to refresh the cache for softwarecomponents.

Anyway,I am wondering why you are adding a namespace to a software component owned by SAP. This is strongly not recommended.

I think you should define your own software component version which may be based on SAP ABA 640 and add the namespace to that software component version.
