Payroll/ ESI Calculation

Hi,

My issue is regarding indian payroll.....

I having error in ESI which is not calculating properly, n showing the difference in amount.

Did you maintain the IT588. Check once. and check the configuration data for each state you considered.

If it is the support project they must hv configured 0588 infotype.

As some asked tell me what is the difference you are getting?

How much Gross last moth employee have and how much ESI?

How much Gross Curent moth employee have and how much ESI?

What is the differnce ?

Pls check the processing classes and evaluation classes for all the ESI wage components.

Esi is calculate on Gross pay.

The components are

Basic pay - 2,000

HRA - 50% of Basic

TA - 1000 (fixed)

Conveyance - 1000

how to calculate ESI on this?

5000 will be the gross pay and on that 10% how much are u getting

Check the cumulation class 12 to each wage type. This field select in the table V-512W_D, and one more, in this table Check each wage type, whichever wage type select the cumulation class 12, that all are wage type calculate the ESI.

Hi,

Pls check your basic pay, hra , ta and conveyance wage types for the processing classes 1 ,3,4,5,6,10,20,30 and 31. and evaluation classes 2 , cumulation class 10 tick mark.

Hi Anto,

As our guru's told that Chk the p.class 72 (spefic - 1) and cumulation class 12 (ESI Basis) and 13 (ESI Basis Nominal) and try it now.

It will work because i have faced the same problem.
