For Printing more than 255 Characters in Report

Dear All,

In ALV Report or Classical If the Column length is more than 255 the remaining characters are truncated ,what could be done to print more than 255 characters.Any Printer settings can be done if so reply me.

Hi,

Do you mean the list width or each column width?

If list width, ithink you can display more that 255 Chars in a list for both Classical and ALV reportign.

If you mean 255 chars in a single column i think it is possible too. There is a data element called CHAR1250. So i think it is possible.

Hi Dinamol,

For this type of Requirement what you need to do is just create a classical report in the background and then print the report It will print perfectly.
