Dear SAP gurus
Currently we r using ISDN connectivity to provide connection to SAP through SAProuter
But now we want to make a extra saprouter for providing connection to SAP through internet by SNC concept.
we want to keep our ISDN saprouter setup as a standby in case of down internet SNC saprouter connection ,
so my query is can we have two seprate saprouter for a single customer ID like this ??????
thanks in advance
Gagan
High Gagan,
- You can establish two serviceconnections at the same time.
(like VPN as a basis-line and SNC for backup). Please note, that
you have to use for that solution two SAProuters (for every
serviceconnections one SAProuter) or two SAPlogon-strings.
VERY IMPORTANT FOR YOU ! DO NOT USE SNC !!!
- Please note, that SNC don't support access to SAP-internal systems
(like trainings-systems, etc.) and don't allow FTP-downloads.
- Please note, that you have to use static official IP-addresses for
your SAProuter AND for your gateway (note 50430). If you realize a
ISDN-serviceconnection to SAP, you can use static official
IP-addresses from SAP without charge (note 50430).
Hope it will help you!!
Thank you,
Tilak
