When goods(RM) are issued for production /subcontract/consumption, is it necessary that the RG23A Part-1 register has to be updated?
What customization has to be done for this to happen?

maitain the 261,541 movement type as the movement types involved for excise in,
spro->log gen -> tax on sales/purchase ->india->acount determination->incoming excise invoice->specify which movt type involved excise.
specify reg also.
