ChaRM: substitution/replacement scenarios for Change Manager

Hi!

we are implementing ChaRM and have following question.

Are there some suitable substitution/replacement scenarios for Change Manager, if he/she goes on vacation or simply is absent for e.g. 2 weeks?

This is very important, because all the new change requests that should be approved by this Change manager will not be proceeded.

One way around this to have a Business Partner mentioning the Group mail box having the e-mail ID of these 2 or more persons.

Now mail wil trigger and accessible by these 2 persons out of which one will login and enter his name in the required field and approves the ticket.

Roles assigned wil be same and later you can also come to knw that who has approved the required ticket which is also relevant at a later point of time to distinguish between the 2 approver tickets.

Hi,

only thing I can think of right now is to have a second employee with appropriate roles/authorizations and to have him/her change the content of "partner function" within each change request/document he is working on for the time the origin change manager is absent.

If assigned you may change the change manager via "partner" in the iBase component (IB52) so all new requests will be assigned to the second employee.

This all depends on your scenario.

I can't remember of a special function or procedure for a replacement person.
