Form 217 (A) Error

Hi

I am facing a problem while running Form 217 2(A) in t.code PC00_M40_F217. Here am getting only few employees list. Even though emp salary is more than 2 lacs per month.

Configuration i have done is.........

1. I have selected the Cumulation classes 35 & 38 in the table V_521W_D for all my wage types.

2. FM217 is 2,00,000 and SC217 is 24,00,000 in Payroll constants table V_T511P.

I have maintained the infotypes 16, 22, 23.

Please let me know where am going wrong..

Is it display problem or do you have any error numbers?

hi bharathi,

check evaluation class 11 of the wagetypes used in form 217,

specification 1 should be set for allt eh wagetypes thata re defined as salary components,

specification 2 should be set for all the wagetypes thata re defined as prerequisites in form 217.

Thanks for the reply. I have already maintained the evalution class 11 and spec 01.

My client requirement is ......if the emp salary is more than 2 lacs per month, it should display in Form 217. For that i have maintained both FM217 (2,00,000) and SC217 (24,00,000) in V_T511P.

In this case do i need to maintain SC217??????? because this is annula limit.

You have to amintian both SC217 and FM217 and also infotypes 0001,0016,0022,0023.

Hello Bharathi,

Both the constants SC217 and FM217 should be maintained. If you read the documentation for both these constants you will get a clear idea.

Basically the report reads SC217 for employees who are employeed for the complete duration of the reporting period. If during this duration their salary exceeds the limit specified in the constant SC217 (24L), then they are displayed in the report.

Constant FM217 is used for employees who are employed for only a part of the reporting duration. In such case if the salary for the employee exceeds the limit in constant FM217 (2L) in any one month, then the employee gets listed in the report.

As already mentioned by Hema before, Evaluation class 11 is used to determine the salary relevent for Form 217.

Infotypes 0001and 0002 are mandatory which offcourse would be maintained. Infotypes 0016, 0023 and 0022 subty N5 are also read to provide additional information in the report. But these are not mandatory.
