Schedule the printing of workbooks

Hi,

I wanted to know if it is possible to schedule the printing process of a workbook. I searched in the forum and I saw that for BW 3.5 custom code is needed. We use BI 7.0 and SAP GUI 7.1.

I'd like to reach the following situation:

- Schedulation of n workbooks for the printing process during every night

- Each morning, the set of workbooks selected is available on paper

Any ideas?

I see that for the queries the "print" function is available. In case of workbooks, this option is not provided.

thanks for your reply! I tried to use bex broadcaster for my purpose, but on "DISTRIBUTION TYPE" i can see only mail or portal. I cannot see a print option. I want to print a workbook.

Hi,

Yes u can print workbooks in background using Information Broadcasting in BI 7.0.

From the Bex analyzer/ WAD/ Portal from the tools menu select Bex Broadcaster .

There u can set the Report to be sent to printer.

Use the wizard to create IB and schedule it.

Searc SDN for IB.'
