Master DVD not showing all installation options

Hello,

I've a problem in the beginning of Solution Manager 7.0 SR4 on Linux.

When I exectute sapinst from the Master DVD I don't get the option to install the Solution Manager System.

I only see installation options "Standalone Engines" which contains SM Diagnostics Manager and "Software Life-Cycle Options" like Database tools, Java Add-in, System Copy... but I don't have any option to install the system.

I've also tested this on a Windows box with the same result.

I'm using 32-bit which should be supported, also I'm sure using the correct Master DVD.

Any ideas on that?

Try to read instguide, your system MUST be 64 bit ......

if Solman70 is only available for 64-bit... why is there a Master DVD for 32-bit?

Per note Note 1145779 - SAP Solution Manager 7.0 Installation

you need ro use Solution Manager 4.0 SR3 and patch this system to SAP Solution Manager 7.0.

In SWDC i can't find 4.0 SR3, it means you need to request DVD's from SAP with this release. In any case 32 bit is not recomended for SAP Netweaver, best if you use 64 bit Regards...
