User status and system status

Hi All,

How to make User status ?

For example WBS in status created ... user cannot do any actual posting

or WBS status Release ...user can create PR/PO

Plz advice me in detail

Hi Nies,

If system status is created then you can't do actual posting

this is provided by Std.SAP.

and if you want to restrict PR/PO at release status then you can restrict it by locking account assignment.

CJ20N->EDIT>STATUS>LOCK-->ACCOUNT ASSIGNMENT.

System Response

You cannot carry out the transaction 'Write plan line items'.

Procedure

You can carry out this transaction if you set a user status, which permits 'Write plan line items'.

Hi,

Create a Status Profile and assign it to WBS PHRE3PLH0810-PP-KT03 .

The one of status number in that profile should allow the Business Transaction '' 'rite plan line items''. You have to set that status number to that WBS.

*. I already create a status profile and assign to this WBS

The one of status number in that profile should allow the Business Transaction '' 'rite plan line items''. You have to set that status number to that WBS.

*. I dont understand of write plan line items? is it a tcode?

Hi,

All these you have to do in T Code OK02 only.

To assign business transactions to your user statuses, proceed as follows:

1. Position the cursor on the desired user status.

2. Choose Goto -> Business transaction control.

3. Choose Edit -> New lines to display a list of the existing business transactions.

4. Assign the corresponding transactions ( Write plan line item)to your user status and set Permitted for '' Write plan line item''.

In Status Profile create a user status and double click on that. Then select Edit->New Entry and make the "write plan line item" from list as allowed by selecting the radio button.

Hi,

I created successfully the status of write plan line item. But i have to tick one by one in the WBSE to allow write plan line item in each wbs. Is there any way to tick automatically, let say if the status release...write plan item is allowed.

System Status are Predefined in the system.

User Status that can be define in the customizing section of SAP PS & then summarize in a user status profile OK02.

E.G: To lock any posting PR/P.O/F.I posting, unless Budget is allocated to WBS. For this u can create User status.

Hi ,

user cannot do any actual posting if WBS is in CRTD stage no need for user status

To restrict PR/PO with released status u can define thru OK02 and prohibit the business transaction
