serial number change

Hi all,

By mistake, we made GR with wrong serial number. now how to change the serial number and put original one.

Hi,

If you had entered the wrong serial number and want to change the serial number

goto Transaction -IQ02. Enter the material and correct serial number.

then in Edit --> Special Serial No Functions --> Change Serial No

save the material number

Hi

You need to cancel the GR and make fresh GR with correct serial number, please note that material document number is exception as we can not input by our own, it is system generated document number.

Suppose if the wrong serial number existing in the system, will come to know only after physically check in the warehouse. Now how to change the serial number, its ISU material.
