Hello All

While Deploying my Web Dynpro Application, I get following Error...

Session id 0 / An administrator logged in via API /

Inner exception was :

Server eppune did not accept login request as apiadmin on port 50118 - Cannot log in. There are already active sessions:

Session id 0 / An administrator logged in via API /

Any solutions for this?

Also when i go to SAPMMC in remote server, server status is up(Green).

However when i type the URL of my portal in addressbar..

Page loading and loading...and nothing can be seen..

What could be the problem???

Thanks...

Hi

As I said earlier in the message

Stop the SDM server and start again and you can do this as follows

You can do this in NWDS -> j2ee Engine (Restart thw SDM Process)

or

usr/sap/ID/Instance ID/SDM/program/stopserver.bat

Dear Chetna.

Perhaps, your administration deployment port 50018 is blocked in LAN.

Check the connection by telnet protocol

telnet yourhostname 50018

Best regards, Sergey.

Hi Sergey

Dear Chetna

At first you should run command prompt window:

Start -> Run -> cmd

and all commands should be wrote in this window. In this case you have possibility to read system answer.

If connection is broken during telnet checking you can see system reply like "Could not open the connection to the host ... on port...". Otherwise clear black screen appears - it means that connection is OK.

Best regards, Sergey.

Dear Chetna,

If in your machine, NWDS is installed, go to J2ee Engine tab in NWDS where in you can see all the server nodes, SDM, dispatcher will be running. Just right click on SDM and click on restart processes, which will restart your SDM server and it will start t0 2-3 minutes and try to login to SDM.

Hi Chetna Verma

Check the Following .......

1.Check The server login and Password

2.Check the SDM Password is correct

3.Check server working fine ,Other wise Restart Server

4.Check your Previous Deployement Finished

5.Check Whether more than one Deployment given at same time to same Server ... it will happen When more Systems Connected in Network and using same server at time .

Hi,

what is the error your getting when logging into SDM.

If you forgot your password, you can goahead and change the password, there are some forums giving information on changing the password of SDM.

Hi,

Are you able to ping eppune server from your local machine ,if not then make the entry in the windows host file like this

<ip address of eppune> <Fully qualified domain name>

<ip address of eppune> <Only Host name>

Also if you have access to eppune server then you can kill the SDM session which might be running on that system.

Hi

Check if ur SDM is wrking properly.

if ur SDM files r corrupt. thn i think u'll have to reinstall SDM.

thats d only option left according to me.

lets wait for a better solution, which cn resolve this issue.

HI,

As There are already active sessions, means somebody is using SDM,

If you restart it then the session will be killed, but it will intrupt others work.

but you only have this option

and as you said

Page loading and loading...and nothing can be seen..

So check your server's performance.

Hi Chetna,

Just restart your SDM, it may be some body else is using SDM at same time,

if not then this could be the reasion--

Server XXX did not accept login request as admin on port 50018 Details: this Could not establish connection to server XXX at port 50018:

then Troubleshooting your SDM by using given link below
