Hi,
I made a simple type in Local Dictionary with Built-In-Type "date" with External Representation Format "dd.MM.". Now I created an InputField in a Web Dynpro, bound it to a context node with this datetype and the date is shown as I supposed (for example "2004-05-24" is shown as "24.05.").
But when I now click on the calendar button which is automatically added by WDF next to the InputField, the popup calendar ui shows no entries. The header says "Januar NaN" and the days are displayed as "NaN" also. Is there any way to tell the calendar ui directly which year (f.e. always the current) it should display?
Thanks,
Bjoern
PS: I am a newbie in Web Dynpro...

Bjoern,
I have not tried sending a format without the year. But be warned, the format once the user selects a date will be based on the user's locale settings and not be the format of the simple type you setup. It will be re-formatted once the data is sent to the server and comes back, but until then it will not be the same as the initial format.
