Dump when login to system ; message : DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_REQUEST

Dear Gurus,

I am encountering issues when login to my system : SOLUTION MANAGER and the error is DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_REQUEST

i tried to check in the HELP.SAP.COM

and could find that the SAP NOTE ; 89384

I am unable to resolve at my end -- can some one help me out with the same.

your help is highly apprecialbe and rewardable.

Hi Mohammed,

Just like to add that if you know which work process ran the transaction, you can also check the work process trace (/usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS90/work, dev_w<# of work process>); or with transaction sm50, highlight the work procress that run the transaction, and then choose Process -> Trace -> Display File.

If you can locate the entry, you will see an DB2 SQL error code in the form of SQLXXXXn. You can find explanation and general solution to this error by running as db2<sid>: db2 \? SQLXXXXn

Please check the "ANALYSIS" section in ST22 and look what the exact database error is. Also check SM21.
