Dear guru's

we have two client. both client follow the release strategy of with classification method for PR. let us cleint A, set release group "OvRelPReq" check. when we create PR then release strategy comes on header level. If we remove that check on "OvRelPReq" then Release strategy not comes on both level i.e. Header and Item level.

Ohter client, let us B, follow the same as above.set release group "OvRelPReq" not checked.when creating PR release strategy come on item level.

My issue, How to convert Item level release strategy to header level release stratgey for client B.

Thanx,

Hi,

If you want to convert the item level release to Header level release then you need to select the check box Overall release in Document types

goto SPROMM-PurchasingPurchase req--Define doc types

here withrespect to document type you need to select the Over all release checkbox.( First you need to define the document type as one of the Characteristics to adopt the Header level release strategy )

hope you got it

Hi,

the release strategy for Purchase Requisition with classification can be relased both at Header Level and Item Level.

For Release Strategy At Header Level, set the release indicator both at document level(document type) and also the release strategy level.

If you wnt at Item level, then remove the indicartor at both the levels set. As, by default it is at Item level.

Hope this will solve.

go to SPRO-MMPR-DEFINE DOCUMENT TYPES-here u have to tick against the document type for the Overall release column.

Also check SPRO-MMPR-RELEASE PROCEDURE-PROCEDURE WITH CLASSIFICATION-SETUP PROCEDURE WITH CLSSIFICATION-RELEASE GROUPS----check whether Overall release is checked against the release groups.
