Hello,
I am trying to start my freshly installed Netweaver 2004s test drive (Java + Abap), but I am getting the error XUSER not found.
I read that I have to run the command xuser to solve the problem, however, I have no idea how to do it (I am not a basis expert). I would really appreciate if someone can help me. I am particularly missing the good parameters ...
Here is the log when starting the DB:

Thank you for your help.

Dear Gregory,
then somehow the xuser command did not run or succeed during installation.
grep install.sh from the DVD for xuser commands and execute them manually. n4sadm should then have a .XUSER.62 file in his home directory.
Thanks,
Hannes

I'd like to add that I resolved this issues by starting it from DBMGUI with user control, passw sapn4sadm. Somehow MaxDB did start this way.. However, mentioned method is better because n4sadm can start and stop MaxDB also this way.
