Mobile Client Installation Error

Hi,

I am installating Mobile Repository server 2007. All the requirments mentioned in Inst_guide are completed. .net frame work 2.0, Java j2sdk 1.4.2_09, cheked on CMD, SQL 2005 sp2 installed as per Inst-Guide latin1.

Working on Windows 2003 64bit

Now when I start installation pop up error window come

Error:

at InstAssist.InstAssistMain.startProcessing (String[]args)

at InstAssist.InstAssistMain.mai.(String[]args)

& installation couldnot move.

Did mobile repository server installation worked with amd 64 bit in your landscape?

Please let me know...

I am also facing the same issue.

Hi Malay Kumar Jena,

It's not working on AMD64 also even it is mentioned in the communication station guide it works on AMD64 & Not support to IA64.

Hi,

I guess that Win2003 64bit is not supported by SAP for MRS, only 32bit.

At least it is not mentioned in the inst guide and especially in the PAM. It is only supported for comm station under certain conditions.
