Goto tcode rz11. Enter the parameter in the dialogue box
and display. Then you might see a short desciption if its
configured. Also if doc is created, then clicking on the
"Documentation" button can also help.
Apart from that you can check the
file ..\usr\sap\<sid>\D00\log\ALPARAMS.DAT for
alert/param_file.
I believe the alert/param_file contains the list of
parameters relevant to performance like access behaviour
of database buffers and lock/deadlock situations.
Anyway I am trying to get info from my colleagues knowing
CCMS Monitoring better. I will keep you informed
