Information Required regarding Extraction

Dear All,

We have planned to extract LO and FI data from R/3 Source System to SAP BI server1 DSO. Further we plan to extract data from BI server1 DSO to another DSO in SAP BI Server2. We are not able to extract data directly from R/3 to BI Server2 due to some restrictions. Now i would like to know whether the Inventory and FI data can be extracted from DSO of server1 to DSO of server2. Will the Inventory data be correct for non-cummulative keyfigures. Please help.

Hello,

If you extract the inventory data to another bi system there will be no problem with that. That scenario will be the same like you extract it to another infoprovider in the same bi system.

Hi,

Just try with..

Create Export data Source for DSO1 in BW server1 and it will act as Datasource for any other Systems, and you have RFC connection between BW server 1 and BW server2, so link the export datasource from Server 1 to server 2 in BW and extract the data.

Just think in this way, if it is Ok then proceed.
