hi,

what is does mean by ALV grid uses Active X controls present on presentation server.

Hi

The ALV grid is built on the presentation server. SAP GUI objects are doing this by Active X controls.

This means that some logic of creating ALV grid on screen is there on presentation server, so you need to have that component (activeX) on your (or each user) machine to ALV grid work properly.
