Copy DC and renaming it will work?

Hi @,

In my WEb dypro applications I can copy the folder in workspace rename it and then import it as new project and then can modify and use it.

Is the same way we can do for DC's Also. I need to have an application which is exactly same as an existing application with some additions so I was thinking to use the existing one and import it into new application and then add the new features into the same.

Is this going to work or I can use any other method ?

Hi,

Yes this is possible.

Create new DC>Go to File>Import>Filesystem>in from directory there is option browse>select the comp folder of the DC which you want to import>in into folder select the newly created DC.-->finish.

Right click new DC and reload.

This will create new DC with same features as First.

Just rename the application.

Hi,

I think you can not use this method, because it will bring inconsistencies, do not copy the dc as a whole, make a new dc and copy its components to it.
