System status of activity.

Need help as follows-

A project structure is created and released. When additional WBS is added,the status of the same is 'REL' automatically. But when activity is assigned to the Released WBS , the status is 'CRTD'.

The requirement is that when activity is assigned to a Released WBS, the status of the same should also be 'Released'.

go to OPSC and tick the release immediately indicator.

Hi Nidhi,

This is because WBS and Network are the 2 Dif Objects within the Project , When the Top WBS is released all the WBS below will be released.

Similarly to release all the Activites in a Perticular proj. u 1st hav to release the Netwrk Header , thn only all the activities assigned to the Network will be released Automatically. else u can release all the activities individually which will leave the Network Header in Pre- Released Status
