How to find an Installation Number ???

Hello Everyone

I have an ECC 6.0 system and when i check for Installation number it shows as Initial.. the OSS id and password for this customer is not workig.. How do i find the Installation number for this system ???

Hi Syed,

The installation number is initial means you have a temporary license installed.

You need to get the parmenant license key from the SMP and apply.

You can get the installation no from other SAP systems installed in the landscape.. Or

You can search the installation no on the documents which were sent to your client alongwith software DVD.

If you dont have any other OSS ID and your existing ID is locked then unlock/request the same from SAP. As you require it for further post installation actvities like maintaining the system data, etc

Hi,

Your system installation number is initial. means permanent license is not apply on the system.

you have to apply for sap license.

if your s-user id password is not working then mail contact sap regarding problem with your S- user id .
