Visual composer services are not found

Hi,

We are trying to access VC for portal-dev server(https://portaldev.xx.net/VC/default.jsp). It say "VC services not found need to install MSXML Parser v4.0).

We had

a).installed Adobe SVG (SVGView.exe) & MSXML Parser (msxml.msi) on our workstation;

b).assigned all the VC roles to the user id,

c). the 2 services -> vc_client & VisualComposerServerEar04 are running.

Still getting same message.. as VC services not found.

kindly suggest.

Regards,

Madhavi

Dear Omer,

Thankyou for your replies.

But the issue is reolved, we changed Development server VC parameter & IE settings. after which whole server was restarted.

Thanks,

Madhavi

We even restarted the 2 services vcclient & VisualComposerServerEar04 under ( Visual Admin>server xx> delpoydevelopment server) and then restarted whole system... Still giving same message.

Hi,

Did you restart the server or the entire machine? I am not sure but i think it's what they meant in the other thread. (To restart the OS completely).

I've asked some colleagues here and if the restart won't fix the problem (or cannot be done), our recommendation is to open an OSS message.

MS XML Parser is not listed under Tools> Manage Add-Ons. And so it is not disable.

Yes ,we tried on other computers with IE 6.0 & 7.0 still didn't work.

In that case, i have 2 more ideas left:

1. Please check in IE from Tools -> Manage Add-Ons that the MSXML addin is not disabled.

2. Can you please try to login to VC from another computer? (with IE6 or IE7) to see if the problem is isolated to one Browser.

Hope this helps.

I see,

From where did you install the MSXML parser?

Also, does this problem occur in other computers as well?

Regards.

Omer.
