Copy 101 Movement type

Hi,

I was trying to copy 101 movement type and create a new one but i am unable to change the movement type text and uncheck the value and quantity update control indicators.

Please throw some light as it is really very important.

What is the Business Requirement to Copy 101 Movement type and Create New One.

Since Within Standard SAP Movement types you can acheive all your Requirements.

hi,

I hope you are trying to copy it from OMJJ tcode...

In it provide the mvt type or directly a range, then when the system copies the mvt type, the system ask to change the Help text....there you shd be able to change the same....

If you dont want the value and qty updates then why dont you directly try to take the respective mvt type only...why are you gng for 101???

Hi,

we want to create a new movement type refering to 101 is because we are receiving an intercompany STO of 100 USD on PO but the material is valuated at 0.01$ so 99.99$ is going to PPV account.

In order to avoid this PPV we don't want thi movement type to valu update but only quantity update.

What is the reason why u need to create/copy new mov type 101?, what is the purpose relevant of this?
