What is CE

Hi Experts,

I am new to CE, actually I dont even know what CE is. Can someone please help me start understanding CE.

Few questions:

1. Is it different from PORTAL?

2. Does it run on a different WAS?

3. How is it different from Composite Application framework (as I can 4. see it form two different forums)

5. Does it require a different installation than the portal?

6. Is there a architechture diagram where I can see where it fits in the NetWeaver Stack.
