Crystal Server XI R2 questions about max # of users.

Hello,

I have several questions about Crystal Server XI R2.

1. What are the max number of users able to log on for running reports?

2. If we were to upgrade, what version would we need to go to as a natural progrssion from Server XI R2?

3. This is not really a question, going forward we would need to have a least 25 concurrent users able to log in to run reports.

Thank you for the speedy reply. I was under the impression that XI R2 maxed out at 15 concurrent users.

Scalability is limited for Crystal Reports Server (no clustering). But XIR2 does not have a limit except by the license key, you can simply add more (whatever component you need) to expand concurrent (logon, jobs, reports, etc).

It is possible I was in error and the license key needed for CPU/processor is only available in XIR2 Enterprise edition. That would be a better question for sales/licensing.

go to CMC/licensing and view how many concurrent licenses you have. I believe you can simply buy more from your account rep/sales rep or get a CPU/processor license.

After XIR2 is XI 3.x
