Effect of changing a item condition to header condition

Hi,

We have a pricing condition which is at item level. For some reasons, the business wants it to make it header conditon, so that the value given in the header will apply to all the items at the same rate i.e if the header cond rate is given as 2%, it should apply to individual line items as 2%.

What will be the effect of change on the open orders and open documents if we change the item condition to header condition?

hello, friend.

the SAP technical behavior is that when you make changes, these should not affect SD open documents or documents already created and saved. the only exception to this rule is when you make changes to the address of the ship-to party, which will update at least the open SD documents.

unless you do price updates to open sales orders, your changes should not affect previously created and saved documents.
