TO picking via RF device

Hi All,

I would like to know, when any transfer order is automatically created by the system in the background. How would fork lift operator receive message into his RF equipment to know that he has to go pick that TO?

Hi

I think that if you allow partial picking in the warehouse then the transfer order will be created with the WMTA at header level. To allow the partial picking, you have to go to customizing for warehouse management/interfaces/shipping and then activate this possibility

Hi,

To assign any transfer order to any person you have to do configuration in mobile data entry

Mobile data entry-RF queue mgt. --Assign areas & activities to queues. Once you assign the user queue to particular picking or putaway activity, during TO creation system assign TO to that queue.

There are three steps in RF queue mgt. including the one above.

1.Define queues.

2.Assign areas & activities to queues--as mentioned above

3.Assign Processor to Queues

By this process you will assign TO to forklift person automatically.

Hi,

By configuring RF driver to the queue/s ( As told by Prashant) ....the RF driver can login into the queue and check for any TO's to be processed...
