Convertion exit datatype change Flat File Extraction (please help)

Could someone please help me with the following:

I have been trying to load data from a flat file into an InfoCube. One of the flat file fields is of type (CHAR 10), which is actually a KeyFigure Value which is numeric in nature with commas, decimal point and 3 digits of fractional part.

I am able to load data into PSA, but when I am loading into Cube, I am getting the error like "The argument '1,052.72' cannot be interpreted as a number". these errors are there for every record.

The InfoObject I am using is a KeyFigure, which was defined as DEC datatype.

I think, I need to maintain a conversion exit in the FF Datasource to convert the data type from CHAR to DEC.

If you think the same, Please help how and where I have to write the code. Some example code would be more helpful.
