If you Want to Create New External Vendor Master Number ranges then Use OMSJ Trxn Code and Create Number range as follows:

ZZ A to ZZZZZZZZZ (Alphanumeric)

In the intervals option give the number range and next to that give alphanumaric character and as well number range flag (internal and ecternal)

In OMSJ

Select number ranges.

Then find which number range number is given there.

Then click back and select the intervals.

Then against your number range number there is a tickbos 'external' at the end.That determines whether the number range is external or internal.

Tick that and save after giving the number range interval.
