Hi
MTO-strategy 50
PIR give in the finish goods
with out sales order we can't convert pl.ord to pro.ord bc the planned order type=vp.after receiving sales order the PIR was consumed by incoming sales order.now the pl.ord type=la.now we can convert pl.ord to pro.ord.
With out sales order we can plan upto
assembly level.
for this strategy collective indicator 2 use to produce pl.ord in assembly level collectively.
EX.: same date ur giving 2 PIR for 40,50 in FG
if u use indicator 2 collective in assembly material u can get single planned order 100 in assembly lever
(for this u must maintain collective ind 2 in assembly material)

Hi,
Planning w/o final assembly 50:
This is make to Order in final level. Below level make to Stock.
HALB level make to stock, so you can create PIR and make stock.
FERT level make to order, you can create PIR but can not proceed further. After getting sale order only you can process.(customer specific stock)
FERT level material consume HALB stock. In FERT maintain Individual req in MRP4 view. So sale order will not consume old unrestricted use stock.
In HALB maintain collective req in MRP4 view. So FERT level req consumes old stock.
Maintain Mixed MRP - 3 in MRP3 view for FERT.

Dharma
