customer master- postal code

Dear All

I want to make the postal code in XD01 CUSTOMER MASTER -

1. To alpha numeric and with gaps i.e AB BC 1234.

2. How to increase length from 10 to 15

AS it is STD SAP settings

Dear Paul,

To control Postal Code Length follow this:

IMG - SAP NetWeaver - General Settings - Set Countries - Set Country-Specific Checks - Select required Country & Set required Lenght in Postal Code Length Feild & Checking rule for Numeric or alpha Numeric.

You can also control other settings like Tax Numbers, VAT number, Bank Numbers here...

hello, friend.

1. number range

go to IMG > General Settings > Set Country > Set Country - Specific Checks; select country and enter the length (maximum of 10) and checking rule '7' (with gaps).

2. in SAP standard, postal code has maximum of 10 characters. maybe you could try talking with ABAP if this can be increased to 15.

the responsibility for making the above settings belong to BASIS. please coordinate with your system administrator if you wish to make such changes.
