Document Printing - Slow

Hi all,

One of our client facing a peculiar issue. When they print a document from SAP B1, it is taking lot of time to print ie. after give the print, takes more time to reach the printer. Installed a printer in server itself and tested but it remains the same status.

They have also checked the network connections.

Let me have a solution please.

Hi,

Please check your all network infrastructures. If it's not caused, please use a print server. As my experience to use a print server, the printing of document is smooth and fast.

Hi Venkatesan,

Have you tried to print to PDF file from B1? How about the speed for that?

If that is normal, problem must be related to printer driver, authorization or network routing.

what version of B1 are you using ? what is the server OS and database platforms ? what is the printer type ?

Printer: HP - Laser printer.
