Storage location stock

Hi PP Experts,

Can anybody tell me what is differance between Storage location stock,sales order stock & Warehouse stock. Please help.

Hi,

Storage Location Stock :

Storage location stock is the stock lying inside particular storage location in the plant.You can see storage location stock in MMBE by specifying storage location alongwith material & plant.

Sales Order Stock :

Sales Order Stock is the special type of stock which comes into picture when you are manufacturing with Make-to-Order Scenario.When you create Production Order against Sales order it will be of PP02 type and further when you do GR for this Production order this stock will come as Sales order stock in the storage location.This stock you can despatch specifically against that particular Sales order only and not for any other SO.

Warehouse Stock:
