I cant help by documents, but briefly ....

Steel industry manufactures products broadly classified into

Flat products- Coils, Sheets, plates

Long products- Rods, wires

From raw material to conversion into liquid iron and steel u can map into PP PI / Repetitive.

From steel to conversion of final products (Mills) can be MTO discrete.

Variant Config, Batch Mgmet functionalities prevail.

I hope this can be helpful as an overview.

Sandeep,

Once you are on a Project, the business persons would give you the indepth process flow required for you to map in SAP. Every Industry would have its own set of process..
