How to know the stock of components of a equipment?

One equipment is having bill of materials. How to know the stock of bill of materials of such equipment?

First let me thank for the link given.

I understood that my question is not clear. Any how my requirement is stock can be viewed for a material through either mmbe, md04 or mb5b etc., but once if you need the stock of bill of material of a item at a time, how to go about? Pl explain if you can.
