Install XI, EP and BI

We have got a requirement to install netweaver components

XI, EP and BI.

1)Can we install all the components in one server and with same sid. or

2) install the XI in one server and EP,BI in another server

so finally i have to install

1)ABAP+JAVA in SID1

2)Install ABAP+JAVA and PI in SID2

3)install ABAP+JAVA and BI in SID3

4)install JAVA and EP in SID4

Hi Ketu,

It wont be possible .

BI ans XI systems will need two diffetent SIDs but as Basis dude rightly mentioned that you can install all the systems on one host.

Hello Kishore

You can NOT have same SID or same INSTANCE NUMBER if you installing on the same box (server).

You can install all the three on the same server ( if they are for lab or Dev or quality) provided your server meets the minimum memory requirements.
