SAP GUI and Certificates

Do you know how to authenticate users with X509 certificate via SAP GUI ?

When using X.509 client certificates, users are authenticated on the SAP Web Application Server using HTTPS connections for the communication between the users' Web browsers and the SAP Web Application Server.

But no thing for SAP GUI.

Collegues told me that is possible using iview mechanism.

Do you have more information ?

Here is a common way to find an answer in the documentation:

1. http://help.sap.com/ > Search Documentation (in the top right corner).

2. Choose SAP NetWeaver > SAP NetWeaver CE > 7.1 (or the corresponding product and version).

3. Enter x509 certificate in the search field on the top and choose Search.
