VPN - File Server

Hi,

I need to transfer a file into a FTP server which is accessible only via VPN.

Can XI pass through VPN connectivity and access the FTP.

Please let me know the procedures

Server to be accessed via only VPN connectivity.

For this, you need to contact your network team. Network team will add firewall rule & do network proxy setting for XI server - VPN FTP Server. Network team must be contacted for it.

Then you can use file sender adapter - mention IP address,Host and connect to VPN file server.

Contact the Network Administrator

They will make the VPN connectivity from your network to Client network then you can use normal FTP to access the file.

This is what we use in normal scenario's as VPN connectivity cannot be established by PI adapters.
