Problem with ADS (all test reports are OK)

Former Member

Hello all !

I have THE BIG problem, that I cannot resolve.

I have ADS configured. All reports (fp_test_00, FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE (with ads and without), test ADS connection). All fine.

But when the user tries to prepare print preview from RECN transaction, he receives an error:

Error Adobe: com.adobe.ProcessingException: Problem accessing d (200101)

When I set log file from SFP transaction I noticed an error:

Request start time: Fri Oct 10 13:03:06 CEST 2008

com.adobe.ProcessingException: Problem accessing data from Destination: dest:FP_ICF_DATA_DEV//sap/bc/fp/form/layout/RE_CN_010.XDP?fp-language=PL&fp-cacheinfo=2007-07-06T14%3a56%3a09Z%2466d72f8d-38d9-4a19-88a2-491e5a9117f2%240%24pl_PL%24v0.9; [Error Log file "2008.10.10.130307SAFPPIOTRK.pdf" written to E:\usr\sap\SSM\SYS\global\AdobeDocumentServices\renderErrorLog\errorFiles]

What is going on ?

I'm searching all documents, forums and nothings (almost all : check testing reports from SA38).

Piotr,

The URL you have posted extra / (FP_ICF_DATA_DEV//sap/ .... ) ? Is that a typo or check if there is a issue with it as follows:-

After launching Visual Admin, go to Server (xyz) -> Services -> Destinations

Under the Runtime Tab -> Destinations -> HTTP

Create a new HTTP Destination. The name should be FP_ICF_DATA_[instance] Enter the URL and Client of the ABAP system Leave the System ID and Language Blank Selet BASIC authentication, and enter the Username ("ADS_AGENT") and password.

Click Save.

To test this Destination Service, you can append "/sap/bc/fp/form/layout/fp_test_00.xdp" to the end of the URL you just entered. Click Save and Test. If successful, the following message should be displayed "HTTP GET response code 200 Content type text/xml".

Encountered a problem embedding Render collateral:

It that directory I found 4 files with tmp extension.

I read that post, i'm not really sure where exactly to change:

On the Win2k box - in Visual-Admin, under the Global Configuration tab our BASIS guy placed the entry "http://<our App sever host name, ie: cohpsap...>:8000" into the prompt for URL under the HTTP Destination for the SAP system in question - ie FP_ICF_DATA_EPD. (Other prompts on this screen include, Client: 110, Username: ADS_AGENT, Password:....)

Hi

I found in application log that Maitenance Mode is Enabled.

Where Can I change this settings ? I cannot find this in any doc.

I checked everything : no success.

The problem is with recn T-code and preview the page. I don't have any option to set a print device to work with ADS.

In WS Navigator

I try to test ADS Configuration:

http://xxxxxxxxxxx:50000/AdobeDocumentServices/Config?wsdl&style=rpc

When I Click Test, Send

I receive:

User ADS_AGENT does not have access to method rpData.

Where can I check this?

It should be more clear now:

I have two machines. One is SSM + Java only, second is DEV.

I've found that this preview uses RE_CN_010 form, RE_CN_Common interface in package RE_CP_SF.

Software EA-APPL.

So it exists on DEV, but it is not included in SSM installation.

I tried to download and upload this form (via XML file) but i'm not allowed to.

So it is possible to copy this interface and form from DEV to SSM ???

Maybe there is simple way to install this package on SSM ?
