AFAB and Upgrade to ECC6.0

Hi

Doing upgrade to ECC6.0, AFAB will need internal numbering in FBN1.

When upgrading, and then set this numbering to internal with FBN1, depreciation run gives ref.doc.number 1, as the number within asset accounting is reset.

(SNRO - FIAA-BELNR or trx. ABNV)

Apparently, for FIAA-BELNR a new interval has been created in the same year, so

01 2008 0000000001 - 9999999999 counter last number e.g. 426

02 2008 0000000001 - 9999999999 counter 1

How to prevent this ?

If not, for 2009, then continue with range 02 2009 etc ?

Is is a better way to set AFAB internally numbered in FBN1 before upgrading ?

Hi, I have the same problem and what I did is just create the 02 number and that´s all. The standar goes to this number, so you need to created. Yo can change the range numbers (initial an finals).

However, i got an error afterwards. When the program doesn´t find any "Funds Center" (FISTL) througth the derive strategy, i got an error try to create an FI document because the FUNDS CENTER needed. Problems with the FM. Do you know anything about it?

Hi, You must verify that all the fixed assets are having the corresponding Cost Center assigned plus this, verify the following notes 839488, 1268001...
