How to hide % sign in query

Former Member

Hi experts,

This is going to be an easy one for you guys but I cant seems to get it right this time.

I have a query which calculates variance. In the value displayed, it shows the percentage sign, % next to it, e.g. 10%.

However, my user requested this % sign to be removed as it has been described in the column header itself as % Variance.

So, how can I remove the % sign from my query?

Thanks!

Hi Fullham,

Create a formula and use the NODIM function.

Hope it helps.

OK, you would probably find this funny. I have the reverse problem. I want the % sign to show up in every line. How do I do this?

Thank you!

Hi,

Use the function %A at the formula level. I guess you will get the % symbol at each row.

Hope it helps you.

But I find that option giving us a wrong value....why is that so???

Thanks

Hi Praveen,

I used the %A but still did not get the % sign in each line. Any ideas? Thanks again.

Hi

Even I am facing the same issue..I am getting for one key figure column only & not for other columns..

Really wondering, why is that so?

Thanks

Hi BI CONSULTANT,

Have you managed to solve this problem?

I think %A is not gonna help you.

Do you have NODIM() function defined in your formula? Remove this and % sign will be displayed in each rows.

Go to the query designer and in a formula use Data Function => data without dimension NODIM
